[Idea] Star Trek RPG

Alright, right now I'm formulating an idea for a Star Trek RPG. It'll be so that even those of you who aren't super into Star Trek would be able to play and not be completely lost. I'll be the GM/DM whatever you want to call it, and I'll formulate it a little differently than what some of us may be used to. I'll write a short intro that's a captain's log type thing, explaining our current mission in the current galaxy/to the certain planet. Essentially, it's going to be a somewhat structured RPG where we have a good idea of where the story needs to go, so that when we post we can have meaningful posts that add to the story and character development. This will be an ongoing RPG where after the first episode ends, I'll start another one and so on. The spaces will be somewhat limited, and I'd like to read your characters before we start posting, and help you tweak them a little bit. I'm going to write up a guideline as to what information I would like to be included.

This might not sound like it would be fun because it's not all willy-nilly like we're used to, but I feel like with a bit more structure to it, it could last longer than all of the other RPG's we've taken part of at TFF.

If any of you are interested in something like this happening, let me know and I'll write up the information and then you can tell me what you think. After that, submit your characters, I'll say "when", and we can get started.

All of that being said, not all 23 of us can join because that'd be too much. So, I'm going to limit the amount of players, but just because you might not be able to participate in this one doesn't mean you won't be able to participate in the next one. Much like the real Star Trek, certain characters/players will be in and out of different episodes just to make sure we can have some fun

Of course! I'd like to get 5, maybe 6 people to participate. It's a first-come first serve basis. I hope others find interest in it and aren't drawn away just because it will be Star Trek themed.
