Star Trek TOS Empty Star Trek TOS

Post by olivia_the_vulcan Sat Mar 09, 2013 12:11 am

I've been rewatching all of Star Trek TOS lately. I'm on Season 2, episode 9! I really didn't expect it to be so great. I watched it when I was a little kid and I thought maybe I was wrong, but I was definitely right about how awesome it is.

The writing and acting are both really impressive for 60's as well.

Any thoughts?

You can change your name to show up as JNK Smile

ANd I'm glad I'm not the only one. I love this show pretty genuinely, not just because I'm biased Smile

I liked the original series too but I loved the original Start Trek movies the best. I think they were made after the TV series was done. All the actors were older but there were all in it and parts of them were hilarious. In one they go back in time and visit Earth and Spock does the vulcan-unconscious-grip thingy on some obnoxious punk rocker on the bus. hahahahaha XD Awesome Smile

I love all the original movies. My mom and I watched them all the time when I was a kid. I can't wait to rewatch them when I'm done with the series. I'm already about halfway through season 2.. I pretty much just get my Trek on all day Smile

We still have the original set on VHS (you know you're old when.....) If you line up the cases in the right order you get a pic of the Enterprise from the front...lol. It's too bad we can't pull an all-nighter and get together and watch them!

We used to have those, but we lost them when my mother divorced my step father. I miss them so much! I doubt my ex-step dad still has them, I think he burned the remaining stuff of my mom's >_< can't really blame him though. I wonder if they're on Netflix.

I really wish we could pull an all righter and watch them! I'll have to get a hold of them, that'd be so fun

I found out that Netflix has all of the original movies as well. It's going to be a great month for me Smile

I also got my mom to start watching with me again. Soon we're going to take a weekend to have a marathon. I'm really excited!

nevah!!!!!
It would cost too much money to replace all those old movies.... besides they're kinda nostalgic. In a few decades it's going to be a trivia question to know where the word "rewind" came from...lol

I have them all on BluRay now so whenever anyone wants to watch a movie, I'm down (well after I finish the last four episodes of the show) Smile
