Half Life 3

Rumors are afoot that say the game is going to be multiplayer or open world. I really don't know what to think about this or why Valve hates single player games now.

If they managed to pull off a system like Dark Souls though that would be sick, where the multiplayer is mostly optional but handy and really nifty.

this multi stuff is starting to get on my nerves... I mean WOW is awesome, but why did they make Diablo3 into online crap? and same now is gonna happen with other games?

Yeah, even though Valve is known for quality stuff I'd wait for reviews before picking it up. I'm kind of wary about the way the company is headed.

well I sucked at HL1 (tried only free trial version and could never stay alive ) and then I sucked again at HL2, so I gave that game as a present to smeone after that I thought I suced at shooters, but I was ok at Halo, The Conduit and Red steel...so no clue what was wrong with HL...

Sounds like you have a better record with console games then, did you just never get the hang of wsad movement or something?

I really hope the gameplay in HL3 is really like Dark Souls where the multiplayer is entirely optional but it can be nifty and mostly stays in the background.

well today I got HL2 and got immediately hooked on it! I don't suck anymore and it's nice game!
