I can't really think of any prequels that I have hated... but I also can't really think of any I've loved.

I've never read them. The Frank Herbert Dune books were good though. Why were the prequels so bad?

did you read 7th books, also written by his son? I did not like that one either... and prequels... well they are action-stuffed books, nothing of Dune spirit anymore
