Any Full Metal Alchemist fans out here? I loved the series when I first watched it this summer. My boyfriend got me into it Smile

Then we watched Brotherhood and it blew us away. I definitely prefer brotherhood.

What do you guys think about the two series?

My friend wants me to watch both of them but he hasn't finished Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, or Serial Experiments Lain. He did watch Neon Genesis Evangelion at last though.

He said that the original anime was more darker, that could be more up my alley.

Liv it up, which do you think I would prefer? (I'm still Yuan)

lol

Brotherhood is the best. It's extremely dark and sad, it's perfect in every way. The voice acting (mostly the same) is way better for some reason than in the original. More feeling I guess.

It's so good. SO GOOD.

here...

I`am not a big manga fun, but my friends are..

and the Brotherhood is based on manga (thats why it is better) while the original FMA was inspired by manga :p so its a difference Very Happy

Very true. We own a lot of the manga. But there's a lot more than just that as to why Brotherhood is better Wink

Damn, that sucks. Have you tried any of those free anime websites? Also, there are some good torrents out there, which is how we saw the half of it that wasn't up on Netflix when we were originally watching it

but..I like to watch anime with subs...i dont know why..but I dislike dubbed ones. Most of the free anime -have dubbed ones..(or in bad quality)

Fairy Tail has an awesome website, but I cant find a good one for FMA, and other animes.

Anon- I don't like watching with subs for anime for some reason. But Funimation did the dubs for FMA and they're brilliant.

JNK- Keep watching. IT'S SO GOOD

I just love Funimation's dub. Give it some time, it might grow on you. I couldn't listen to anyone else doing the voices without being weirded out lol
