In Time

This was another of those awesome movies that really made you think. It had a really cool concept behind it.
I'm sorry JNK... but it has Justin Timberlake in it. XD

What kinds of things did it get you thinking about, SJ?

it was bad. Seriously - and more of a fantasy than sci-fi.

LOL. But the chick was hot, tho.

Never seen it, SJ. I was just interested to get your thoughts on it though.

I didn't think it was bad at all. It's set in a futuristic society where everyone lives 25 years and then their "clock" turns on and they have one year left to live. They don't age after adulthood and time has become their currency.... they get paid in it, they pay their rent and buy food with it. A bus ride on public transit might cost them an hour for example. The rich live forever of course and the poor might have only hours to spare (most of them only ever have less than a day at any given time). The implications of living in such a society are staggering when you think about it and there were some pretty clever things incorporated into the film that were unique to that society. Only the poor ever run for example.

I've gotta see this. The premise sounds utterly fascinating!

I'll pretend he's Britney Spears

you could see that...but then you remeber its time. I would always move fast and live longer etc. Physics power. And most would/could hack it. and the actor play was bad...please screen play was so bad....

the plot was +/- ok, but it was`nt something new - it was just overall good idea taken for public - and then given to public.
